Trace Coat

The holy grail of hand block printing, exquisite tailoring, and quilted perfection. The Trace coat is block printed on organic heavyweight twill and box-stitch quilted for cozy warmth. 

We thought of every last detail down to the striking lining of block printed ochre and marigold cotton, and silk-lined sleeves for easy on and off. Roll up the cuff for that Block Shop je ne sais quoi. Deep pockets for keys and phone. Slightly oversized cut with flattering length for a cool, relaxed fit. Heavier-weight than the Canyon jackets.

• XS fits most 0-2
• Small fits most 4-6
• Medium fits most 8-10
• Large fits most 12-14
• XL/2XL fits most 16-20

To make our block printed fabric, each design is traced onto a wooden slab, which then is carved by hammer and chisel into a printing block. The block is then printed meticulously by hand using soft, AZO-free, non toxic pigment.

Variation in printing & color are hallmarks of hand block printing and dyeing in small batches.
