Our staple neutral with a point of view. This Camel Key rug is Block Shop’s striking riff on the iconic Greek key pattern, originally named after the Meander River in present-day Turkey, and symbolic of the river's winding path. We reimagined the ancient design in alternating checks and a mirrored trellis pattern that celebrates the undulating flow of life. The wool-cotton flat weave makes it durable and easy to spot clean.

Process
Block Shop is thrilled to partner with V-Weave, one of the oldest and most prestigious family-run weaving cooperatives in India, for our ongoing collections of rugs and pillows. Our rugs are woven from dyed cotton, jute and wool. Our pillows are 100% organic woven cotton with linen backs.
Craftmark certified, V-Weave is best known for their inventive use of traditional Indian natural materials –handspun Himalayan wool, Bengali jute, Gujarati cotton– in wildly textured pedal weaves, shags, and loop pile rugs and textiles.
Block Shop’s collaboration with V-Weave supports the livelihoods of 250 spinners, dyers, and weavers.
Care
Wool is naturally durable and forgiving of stains. Vacuum and spot clean as needed with mild soap (or white vinegar) and water, hang flat and ensure complete air drying. Do not machine wash.
