Flaming Leaf Napkin
Nutmeg
Meet Nutmeg: a rich, highly livable brown that makes a beautiful foundation for any table. Our Flaming Leaf pattern directly references the striking drawing of the name by Hannah Cohoon (1845), created during the Shakers' mid-19th-century Era of Manifestations.
Subtle Block Shop motifs appear in the dotted background and intricate linework of the leaves, bringing together two craft traditions separated by centuries, but united by a shared belief in beauty and utility.

Variation in printing & color are hallmarks of hand block printing and dyeing in small batches.
